Now that I'm a broke, jobless graduate, I feel lonelier than ever without my Spelman sisterhood by my side. AdvertisementI'm feeling much lonelier now that I'm a graduateIt's been almost a year since I left Spelman with my degree, honors, and accomplishments. I cheer my college friends on from behind my phone screen and wish I were there with them, sharing in their celebrations like before. I'm trying to find happiness in my post-grad lifeI don't want my peak to be college, so I've looked to other avenues for community. So, for now, I'll stick to crocheting little lemon pouches and granny squares, hoping I can see my college friends again soon.

If Taylor Swift wins for “Midnights,” she will become the first artist in Grammy history to win the top prize four times. (And, conversely, artists it loves to nominate but not award: both Lana Del Rey and Miley Cyrus have yet to receive a Grammy. I'd love to see a Cyrus win, but I’ve been burned before! She’s tied with the likes of Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus with six nominations, and I think it is her time to finally take home a trophy.

CNN —Rudolph Isley, one of the founding members of the R&B group The Isley Brothers, has died, his family announced. But I know he’s in a better place,” Ronald Isley, Rudolph’s brother and Isley Brother band co-founder, told CNN in a statement on Thursday.
